Join us! We need a Content Marketing Specialist


Run Forrest needs a content marketing specialist that can develop sound strategy, augment it with awesome ideas, and implement the digital and social media needs of some of our clients. Our clients comprise small businesses that make coveted produce; each has a great opportunity for expansion. We need you to help us create some magic for them.

You're a savvy someone that can plan, produce, publish and promote content for our clients. We'll need you to contribute strategically as well as handle implementation.

This is a part-time three-month contract role (approx 24 hours per week) with a view to ongoing (and more!) work, based on results and performance. You can work from our Newport office, or from your home or local cafe, or ideally, a bit of both.

Here's our ideal candidate:

Experience:
At least four years experience in social media management, content development and some digital advertising
Relevant tertiary qualification in Arts, Marketing, Communications or similar
Prior agency experience, preferably with premium brands and food/drink, health/wellness client exposure
Possess a real passion for digital marketing and be across the latest trends in this space
Have an in-depth understanding of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Vimeo and Adwords

Strategy:
Growth and strategic planning experience across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Vimeo in line with each client's business goals
A solid understanding of social media's role in the consumer's path to purchase
Ability to establish realistic measurement metrics
Proven ability to lead projects from concept through to completion
Ability to identify and establish strategic partnerships and identify social influencers and complimentary brands to form/leverage relationships
Advertising campaign development and management across relevant channels
An understanding of the current opportunity that exists for brands on social media, and demonstrated ability to identify and be on the first wave of future trends

Content Creation:
Ability to understand a brand strategy and create content to match tone of voice and topic of conversation
Keen eye for design and strong photography skills with the ability to adapt style to brand
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to write engaging content for blogs and social media platforms
Proficiency in Adobe CS (especially Photoshop)
Strong attention to detail

Implementation:
Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
Proficient in managing company profiles on various social media platforms
Community management across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter
Experience implementing social tags around web products (pixels and scripts)
Experience with Google Analytics reporting and all Ad management tools, including Facebook Business Manager, Facebook Ads, Facebook Power Editor, Facebook Custom audiences and Ad Optimisation
Meet agreed engagement, growth and conversion targets
Social media reporting and listening; experience with Hootsuite and/or SproutSocial

Personal Skills:
Ability to work autonomously and within a small team
Well-developed planning, time-management and organisational skills
Strong work ethic
An out-of-the-box, creative thinker
